Pugnitello, an ancient Tuscan vine, has this name because it produces a few small scattered bunches, the size of a small fist. Due to its natural "thrift" its cultivation had been abandoned a long time ago, but the concentration of the energy of the vine in a few, small berries, in this hilly land of the Valdarno crags, gives us a very intense wine in all its characteristics. The passage in barrique enhances and completes its particular "fruity" and the refinement in the bottle reveals aromas over time
